Our appointment last week was good. He weighs about 4 pounds now and is approximately 19 inches long! When they asked how everything else was going, Dallas informed them that I've taken up snoring. I don't believe him. Also, I'd gotten sick last week and my ribs have been hurting me ever since. They said it's possible I tore or fractured something whilst puking, so now I'm going to great measures not to laugh, sneeze, or cough. The laughing is impossible, because I'm married to Dallas. The sneezing and coughing are tough too, but it's tolerable, and I sure don't want to take any x-rays or pain meds with little Severin in there. So I'm settling for whining constantly about it instead.
Thanks again for the tank tip, Staci! I've not really worn anything else since I bought them.
And speaking of buying things. It's January, the bleakest of the winter months, and real sucky around here so there isn't much to do. Dallas just works all the time and I alternate between eating and napping. So on the weekends we feel like we need to break the mold a little, but this really can't involve anything outdoorsie because I complain a lot.
So we shop.
Look at a couple of the cutsie little things we found for Mr. Severin. :)
EEEKKKK!! Can. Not. Wait. to get him in his little overalls! I still need to find some cowboy boots. It's quite a mystery. Before we knew what we were having, we found little baby boots everywhere. Now that we know we want a boy pair - nada.
And now for your listening enjoyment on this bleak, sucky, thankfully the last day of January:
It's all so exciting! Can not wait to see Severin in his little outfit :D
ReplyDeleteWe love overalls too!!! My dad always bought each of the grandkids their first pair of overalls after they were born, because this is what my dad "Poppy" wears all the time. And by the way....there is nothing cuter than a baby in overalls!! Can't wait to see your little cutie!!
